Bicycle Tour of Historic Longfellow Parks and Grain Milling Sites
Sat., July 19, 10 a.m.–noon
Starting at 29th Avenue South and East Lake Street
The Longfellow Community Council (LCC) is sponsoring a 4.5-mile historic bicycle tour of the western part of the neighborhood. Four parks will be featured, as well as the grain milling and storage district on the western edge of the neighborhood, sites key to the early history of this part of the neighborhood, and Minnehaha Park, where the tour ends.
