Farewell to Reverend Wiesner
In the Seward neighborhood, Rev. Jay A. Wiesner presided over his last service at Bethany Lutheran Church on May 18. He left to take a position in Philadelphia. In his letter to the Bethany congregation, Wiesner said “the . . . Holy Spirit has called me to a new place to serve, halfway across the country. I can’t explain the Spirit, I just try to follow where she leads.”
